Type & Motion Studies
Short SVG and typography experiments I use to test an idea before it reaches a project.
Where it started
Small files, one idea each. Cheaper to throw away a sketch than to argue about a motion decision inside a real build.
What I did
- Drew paths in Illustrator and animated stroke-dash reveals with Anime.js.
- Tested stagger timing on lists until the delay stopped reading as lag.
- Kept the ones that survived a second look and deleted the rest.
What changed
Two of them are running on this page. The rest taught me what a hundred milliseconds too slow feels like.
