REDSA — Real Estate Website
A property search and viewing concept built around what renters complained about.
Where it started
Property sites in India bury the two things people care about — what it costs to live there and whether the listing is real. I wanted to see what the site looks like if you start from those two questions.
What I did
- Interviewed six people who had signed a rental agreement in the previous year and logged where each of them gave up on a listing site.
- Designed a search that leads with monthly cost and distance rather than photo count.
- Built high-fidelity mockups with the visual weight of a finance product, because people are making a money decision here, not browsing.
What changed
The shortlist, saved search and direct agent contact all came out of interview notes rather than a competitor teardown. It is the project I still point at when someone asks why I talk to users before opening Figma.
